Job Title: Phlebotomy Technician I

Pay: $4,714.18/month (approximately $27.20/hour)
Type: Full-time; shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and skin punctures to obtain blood specimens for diagnostic testing
- Prepare, label, and forward blood samples for laboratory analysis
- Calm and reassure anxious patients and explain procedures
- Process specimens, operate automated lab equipment, and maintain accurate records
- Support quality assurance, participate in audits, and assist with related lab duties
Requirements:
- Valid California phlebotomy certification
- Experience in a medical or clinical laboratory (corrections facility experience is a plus)
- Willingness to work variable shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
