Why do I always run out of supplies

It’s so frustrating when I’m in the middle of a procedure and realize we’re out of gauze or alcohol swabs. It seems like every shift, I have to make a last-minute run to the supply room, and it messes with my flow. How do you all manage your supplies to avoid this?

I totally get that! I started keeping a checklist on my phone for essential supplies each shift — it’s been a game changer. Have you thought about doing something similar?
