Rethinking our evening routines

I just noticed how we all spend our evenings winding down. Why do we default to scrolling on our phones or binge-watching shows? It feels like there’s a real opportunity to explore more enriching activities or even to bring back hobbies we used to love. What does your evening routine look like, and have you tried mixing it up?

I totally feel that! I’ve started picking up a book instead of scrolling — it’s like feeding my mind instead of just watching it graze… Have you tried swapping out your phone for something more hands-on, like painting or cooking?

Evenings are perfect for rediscovering old hobbies! I picked up sketching again last month, and it’s been refreshing. It gets me off screens and engages my creativity.

It’s funny how our phones can feel like time machines, taking us back to old habits instead of new experiences. I’ve been trying to dedicate an evening each week to cooking, which feels pretty rewarding. Have you thought about trying a new old hobby, @henry_you?
