My label printer has jokes

At 6:15 a.m., it started spitting 18-inch labels so I mummified a [redacted] SST like a burrito and the tube rack looked judged. If this scales, are we shrink-wrapping patients by lunch, or does someone have the secret combo to tame a Zebra after three STATs?

Try a quick media re-cal: “hold Feed until it flashes twice” so it relearns the gap, then in ZDesigner cap the label length (about 100 mm) and make sure media type isn’t set to “continuous.” Did this start right after a roll swap?

Piggybacking on @jay4414, double-check the ZDesigner driver’s resolution matches the printer (203 vs 300 dpi); a mismatch can make it run off CVS‑receipt lengths. If that’s set right, peek at the job/ZPL for a huge ‘^LL’ coming from the LIS — what model are you on?
